If you’d have seen me when I came in, you’d be amazed how I look now. Being at Lings Bar has really helped me, it’s made me well.

I’ve been here for about 4 months. I’m ready to go home – I can’t walk, paralysed from the waist down, but ready and well enough to go home.

Staff are lovely and gentle, they’re all caring – every one of them. I haven’t got a bad word to say. Genuinely seem to want to get you well. They’ve succeeded with me.

I thank all of the staff here, they’re such a pleasure. Especially when they come in the morning – full of smiles!
