We would like to apologise that staff did not introduce themselves to you when delivering care. This is a very reasonable expectation and your feedback has been shared with the team who have been reminded of their duties in this regard. Thank you for your suggestion about need for follow-up in the Fracture Clinic. The process of asking patients to attend fracture clinic the following day is two-fold. Firstly, on some occasions temporary plasters are applied with a permanent plaster being applied the following day and secondly it gives an opportunity to ensure that any plaster or support is correctly positioned to ensure healing and recovery in the shortest possible time. We are pleased to note that on this occasion the plaster support provided was appropriate and your child is recovering well.
