"Cupcakes"

About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

Having undergone an Angiogram last week I was here today to have some stents fitted. My wife decided to make a batch of cupcakes for the staff as a thank you for the excellent treatment I had received previously. Once again the staff were brilliant, I was looked after this time by two members of staff who made my short stay really pleasant. The "cath Lab" team led by the surgeon made the insertion of the stents interesting to say the least, with topics of conversation ranging from diets, my wife's cupcakes, my tattoos and the merits of slow cookers. All in all a pleasant experience again, strangely I find myself looking forward to my next visit as I need more stents.
