"My care and stay at the Corbett Hospital Day Care..."

On arrival at the unit I was greeted by a friendly Receptionist who handled my registration quickly and with respect for my privacy.After a short wait in the reception I was taken into the ward where I was shown to my bed and was told what was to happen and settled in.Any Nurse or Doctor that I saw introduced themselves and shook my hand.I was made to feel very comfortable and any questions I had were answered clearly.Any forms that needed to be completed were done efficiently.After my key hole surgery on my knee I was taken back to the ward and looked after very well.I have MS and was helped when I needed it and when I came round I was given my medication.When I had recovered from the effects of the operation my husband was telephoned and he came to take me home.I was given a letter for my GP and an appointment for our practise nurse.I was also give booklets on,Preventing blood clots,Discharge advise,patient information from orthopaedic department and helpline numbers.I was very very well looked after.I would not worry if I had to go into that unit again.
