"Hip replacement surgery"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital (Telford)

I was treated with care and compassion by all the staff on Ward 11 and would like to applaud their competence and conscientiousness. They treated all patients as people and could not be faulted.

Dear Chris It is very heartening to hear about such a positive experience, and that you found all staff on Ward 11 to be conscientious, competent, caring and compassionate. I think for many of when we go into hospital we put our faith in the team around us to look after us, and we entrust them with experiences that we might not even share with those closest to us. It is therefore particularly good to hear that you felt that everyone was treated as a person (not a symptom, an operation, a bed) as I think this goes right to the heart of good quality care. Thanks so much for sharing this with us, and I will make sure that this is shared with the team on Ward 11. Adrian Osborne Communications Director The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust
