Dear Anonymous – I am sorry that you have experienced such difficulties gaining information about parking, and where wards are situated on the Southmead site. If staff cannot answer you enquiry I would expect them to find out and then pass this information to you in a return call. I also apologise that no one who you contacted thought to direct you to the North Bristol NHS Trust website that has a link to the schematic of the site showing just this information. I have attached this link for your information; http://www.nbt.nhs.uk/find-us/southmead-hospital If you arrive at the hospital and still cannot find suitable parking, please call our parking team on 0117 323 5023 and they will try to assist. Our parking officers carry out regular patrols and can contact other patrols on site to enquire where vacant spaces are located and then immediately direct you. Once again I am sorry that you did not receive the service that I would expect in response to your enquires, and that this added to your distress.
