(as the patient),

I found my recent treatment to be very helpful.

Ian was welcoming, put me at ease and was able to listen to my rambling story.

He then pulled out some points for us to work at together, giving me tools that would help change me anxieties (phobias), and lack of self-worth into manageable feelings.

All the time, we worked together – he was very affirming of progress made and reassuring of my future.

I am happy to hear that you found your recent treatment to be very helpful. I am glad that you found Ian to be welcoming and that he helped you to develop tools to help you overcome your anxieties and improve you sense of self worth.
