I had a laparoscopy at the QMC's new Treatment Centre last month. It was as a day case. I arrived at 8am, went straight in to be seen by a nurse, and had all the necessary checks done. I went to theatre at 10am, was on the ward for 11.15am and back home for 12.30pm!!
The care that I received was exceptional. All the staff were very friendly and kind. The only problem that I have is that I now have to wait 4 months for my results!!!
