On this occasion I was seen within 15 minutes of my appointment time. However on several occassions in the recent past, I have had a very long wait with no prior warning of this (so, for instance, I have not dared to leave the waiting area to get a drink or visit the lavatory). Patients should always be told the average waiting time to be seen.
