"my daughters surgery and recovery on ward D2"

My daughter was rushed from chelmsford to this hospital with ruptured appendix, and I can not fault the level of care she recieved from the moment we got there to the moment we left. She felt at ease, and was well looked after for the whole stay. The nurses, doctors and especially the surgeon's were pleasent and friendly. This was my daughters first time in hospital and the surgeon explained the procedure of the operation to her with a sensitive manner and was made to feel comfortable. I believe more hospitals should have more staff like the ones at Addenbrooke's. I would highly reccomend this hospital to anyone.
