"Lack of parking"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

I have no issue at all with darent valley hospital. The staff and treatment there are fantastic but there is nowhere near enough available parking particularly for a hospital with a maternity dept. I've been late twice for antenatal appts I've had to queue for 20 mins just to get into a car park and once parked trying to get out of the car is a squeeze. Dreading when we come here when I go into labour!

Thank you for taking the time to write this review and commenting that the staff and treatment are fantastic. We can fully understand your frustration regarding the parking onsite and please be assured that we are looking into this. Unfortunately like many hospital, parking can be an issue although fortunately the hospital is served with a very good local bus service and has drop of points available for either being given a lift or taxis. Also please can we advise that if you are in established labour for yours and your baby's safety you do not drive. With best wishes at what must be a very exciting time for you.
