"Wonderful, compassionate care from A@E and Ward 17..."

About: Good Hope Hospital

Having been fit and healthy all my life it seems recently that various different bits of my body are playing up and I have become a frequent flyer on board A@E and Ward 17 for various different reasons! I cannot thank all the staff enough for the wonderful, efficient, compassionate care I have received. It is difficult to single out particular people because the culture of the hospital seems to encourage teams as a whole to work so hard for the wellbeing of their patients. However, the staff on Ward 17 are now on my Christmas card list.... It's nothing personal but I hope that my next scheduled visit for some surgical tinkering will be less dramatic so I won't be cluttering up A@E on a Sunday and I hope then to stay away for a good long time and get back to work. Thank you once again - thank goodness for the NHS as a whole and Good Hope Hospital in particular!
