"Left feeling worse then when I went in"

I was left feeling worse than when I went in. I was referred to see a consultant after having three failed pregnancies, hopefully 4th time lucky. However, on this appointment I was called into the room where I saw a midwife briefly and then was left waiting 10 - 15 minutes by myself. When the consultant actually arrived I believe she spent no longer than 2 minutes with me, said what she wanted to say and left. No questions, no manners no nothing! I was appalled by the service I received. For being told that I would be looked after, all I can say to that is thank you for filling my mind with hopes and a sign of relief when in fact I have the complete opposite. For those reading, I am not saying that I would like special treatment, I would just like what I was promised.
