"very caring"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

visited ward 1 in maternity with my daughter with threatened miscarriage, greeted on arrival by friendly nursing assistant who took blood pressure and informed us there would be a wait as the doctors were on ward round. The waiting area was fresh and clean. It was nice to see the ward Sister was present and the Matron was even doing a tea round which is a good way to get to know patients. During the scan the consultant was present, he was very reassuring and im pleased to say that everything is ok for the moment. i would like to thank the team for their care, and my daughter is now choosing the LRI to continue with her maternity care.

Hi “gratefull” Thank you for taking the time to leave your very kind feedback. We have passed it on the staff on Ward 1, who will be delighted. We always aim to be polite, honest and friendly so we are really pleased this reflects your experience of Leicester’s Hospitals. We’re very glad your daughter has chosen the Royal for her maternity care too. We wish you both well for daughter’s pregnancy. Kind regards Communications Team Leicester’s Hospitals
