I’m writing this on behalf of my 18-year-old son. He has mild learning difficulties, due to cerebal palsy and crohn's disease.
He was very anxious about drinking approx. 1. 5l clearprep. Has previously had this at the children’s hospital – not a good experience.
Day before MRI scan I rang the MRI department and they were very helpful and asked if he could have the clearprep, via his gastronomy, which is what happened on the day.
In the MRI department, we were handled with respect, patience and my son was treated as an individual, allowed to play his playlist from his mobile during the MRI scan.
I couldn’t fault the staff and I hope that this feedback is passed on to them.
