"Not a pleasant approach by the hosptial"

About: Devon Doctors Ltd South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust

(as a relative),

Devon Doctors requested ambulance one evening in early March to take patient to hospital. Patient was 5 and half stone, copd, suspected pulmonary oedema and severe oxygen deficiency - approx 60 years old. Was told come on you can walk to the ambulance and man was obviously put out and curt when informed she couldn't. He even had the temerity to chastise her for not referring to her GP earlier. Not a pleasant approach at all
