"Hip Replacement"

I was most happy with the pre-operation decision of the the surgeon to use the 100% ceramic replacement, rather than the metal version, because of my age. The speed of which I was called for my operation was brilliant, considering Christmas & new year was in the way. My only disappointment was regarding the amount of physio after the operation. The chances of total of 100% recovery have taken me well over 12 to 18 months. The slowness of recovery to 100% fitness maybe down to my body's slowness of recovery though, even though the surgeon was very happy with me after 3 weeks in hospital - the extension of stay in hospital was soley due to another to my another medical problem I have, for which I am also under the hospital for.
