"Lack of help from GP at West Bromwich Community Centre"

I took my son to the West Bromwich Community Centre several times, as his eyes were yellow (which didn't seem right) and he was having problems with them. On the first occasion, we were told that his eyes were fine.

I then went back again a week later when his eyes looked particularly bad and asked the GP for him to be referred to the hospital. Instead, he told me to go to the opticians and have his eyes tested.

I telephoned many opticians, only to find out that they would not see him (as he is only 2 1/2 years old). At this point, I was quite annoyed with my GP for not just referring him to the hospital.

I am now waiting for a referral still, as my GP is on holiday, and feel disappointed that I was not given more information and advice sooner.
