"Her kindness gave us comfort and reassurance"

About: Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust / Inpatient mental health care

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was admitted to ward 18 Burnley Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit on in January. At first he was very upset and lonely but staff nurse Sheridan came and helped to calm him down. Then during the time he was there she took time to set down and talk to my mother and myself about my son’s condition. Her kindness gave us comfort and reassurance. She was always there to answer any questions. In fact all the staff on ward 18 treated my son with kindness and respect

Many thanks for taking the time to reflect on your experience whilst your son was on ward 18 at Burnley. Feedback is really important to us. We will make sure that your comments are fedback to the team on ward 18 and especially the staff nurse mentioned.
