"The man I spoke to was very clear when giving information"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

GP explained referral process well – took time to listen to concerns and made me feel like I was listened to.

TRAQS contacted me in approximately 4 weeks (good, as over festive season). They left messages as they were unable to contact me – this was clear and easy to understand.

The man I spoke to was very clear when giving information and took time to make sure I understood the information given. I was able to choose the hospital I wished to be seen at.

I was disappointed that there were no appointment dates to choose at this time, but was put on a waiting list. However appointment came through in a week.

Thank you for your feedback.

TRAQS aims to contact patients to arrange an appointment within 5 working days of receipt of the GP referral. I am pleased to read that our booking process in trying to contact you over the holiday period was effective and that the team member concerned ensured that you understood the management of your referral. Although I note you say there were no bookable appointments at the time, I am pleased that you received an appointment without any undue delay.
