"Ward management"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Mental Health

(as the patient),

After a day of being put under immense pressure to "teach me to act like an adult" during a period of struggling with borderline personality disorder, I was actually refused a drink at three o'clock this morning. Brilliant ward management Ward 25, Monklands Hospital, NHS Lanarkshire.......trying to break the little bit of what is left of wanting to live is shocking in this day and age! !

Dear the unhappy

I was very sorry to read your story on Patient Opinion - it doesn't make good reading. I know that Maria Docherty, our chief nurse for mental health and learning disability services, would want to speak with you directly to try to sort out any problems you might still be having in Ward 25. Maria can be contacted at Maria.Docherty@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk or on 01698 858115. I have sent your story to her so that she knows you might be in touch with her.

Best wishes

Shona
