My GP treated me with respect and thoroughly checked my legs, ankle’s and lower back. He recommended I saw a therapist who would be able to give me treatment.
I was contacted by TRAQS who gave me a choice of hospitals. I chose PRH. From the time I booked into the physiotherapy clinic I was treated with respect. Filled in a form which sounds quite easy to do.
The therapist came to meet me in the reception area and led me into a cubicle. I receive the therapist’s full attention, who wrote down all my aches and pains and was able to give me a diagnoses.
I was put on a series of exercises to help me ease my aches and pains. The second and third visits the therapist was visually pleased with my progress. During my third visit I told the therapist I wasn’t quite sure if I was doing the correct daily exercises so I asked for a printed programme.
After much though came to the conclusion that I should have been given a print out of the exercises I have to do after the first visit.
If any different exercises are added then they should be given as a print out. Otherwise, I was treated with dignity and respect.
