"my son has not had his two year check"

About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC / Health visiting

(as a parent/guardian),

My son is 29 months old, I have not had any follow-up with my health visitor since he had his last injections at 13 months old, I work full time so can not attend baby clinic, I did ring and leave a message for the HV to return my call which did not happen.

My son has not had his 2 year check and to be honest I feel as though just because he is my 2nd child I have been left to get on with it.

I had to attend my GP with my son and mentioned this to him he sent a task to HV and I finally got a call over two weeks later!

when I spoke to my HV she put me through to the Nursey Nurse, who was fantastic she came out the following day and spent a good hour with me and my son to give me help with his behavour.

When she was leaving I mentioned to her about the 2 year check and she was under the impression that my son was 3 years old becasue it had been passed to her from the HV!
