"Three letters to let us know one thing"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

The doctor said I need to see a dermatologist, we then got a letter to say we are on the waiting list, then another to say it’s being looked into and we will get an appointment to see the doctor at Donnington.

Then the appointment arrived. Three letters from NHS to say one thing. One letter was all we needed to know one thing.

We had to wait three months for one consultation.

Thank you for taking the time to write to TRAQS.

TRAQS sends an initial letter to the patient to confirm receipt of the GP referral and details of the clinic it has been referred to, in this instance Donnington Dermatology Clinic. The patient may then receive a letter from the clinic providing additional information relating to their appointment. This letter and any further correspondence relating to appointments is not sent by TRAQS and is outside our control.

However, thank you again for taking the time to respond to our request for feedback.
