"Dealing with swelling and pains in joints"

I was referred last year to the hospital after dealing with significant pain in my wrists which came on all of a sudden, not able to pick a phone up without screaming in pain at times. This then went onto become stiff at times and causing lack of sleep not being able to become comfortable in bed, with my ankles also becoming a problem. Many years ago i suffered with my knee where it would swell (junior school), and over time settled down i was about 9. In the past 14/15 years my hip joint is painful and becomes very uncomfortable when sitting, or even in bed mentioned this to the doctor. Anyway also mentioned that my hands when reading a book become very painful and this has happened for a number of years, even holding cheese to try and grate or peeling potatoes or pulling my trousers up becomes a problem. I thought Rheumatoid Arthritis ran through the family which was tested for, however turns out not rheumatoid but juvenile and now called something else arthritis. So first appointment not Rheumatoid and not arthritis at all but to take pictures of the swelling and bring back to look at and take from there if another appointment needed as no point in exposing to radiation at this point. I explained my grandmar who has arthritis and my sister was not diagnosed through blood tests as these did not show anything and was only shown up through x-ray. Well i had two goodish weeks of being able to feel my hands to go back to real bad swelling broken sleep and struggling to walk with pain in knee and lower back. Go back with pictures of swollen joints to be told this is not where swelling takes place and thinks its vitamin D deficiency blood test undertaken and discharged. How can you discharge a patient when no further tests have been undertaken to either confirm it is not something. When asked how i had been i told him not good - dismissed not further discussion on whats not been good - looked at ankles told him hurts when touching base of foot and it also hurts when i walk - nothing. I was asked does it hurt more in winter yes, but never asked does it also hurt in summer yes would have been the answer however with the hands started in september the constant pain to the point where i have wanted to cut my hands off from the wrist down. So non the wiser - wait for vit d result which will go to doctor because your discharged. So, do you eat healthy, never asked, my family eat vegetables at least 4-5 times a week, fish once a week, and i have at least 3 pieces of fruit a day, eggs..... So i am left in pain with swollen ankles albeit not has swollen as what they have been, with my hands starting to become tingly again which leads to the constant aching pain. I'm sorry but by undertaking x-rays this would have at least ruled out causes instead nothing apart from rhuematoiud has been ruled out.
