I was recently admitted to the above unit. From the moment of admission I was treated with respect and care. Having spent 10 days in the unit, with very little else to do but watch the coming and goings, it was obvious to me the amazing level of care delivered by the staff. In all my working life I have never witnessed such prolonged attention to duties. The 12 hour working day was a minimum with many staff, due to hand overs, staying well beyond this. The unit manager understands the quality of his team, I hope this reaches the people who need to know the quality, dedication and genuine care given. I was revived 4 times by staff, and feel although I will probably never meet these special people again, they will always be with me.
