About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

I had to call the 999 service for my wife. The operator asked all sorts of questions to identify the right service I needed and sent paramedic to see my wife.

The paramedics carried out an initial examination and felt an ambulance would be needed to get my wife to hospital. They called for an ambulance which arrived very quickly. My wife was taken to Swindon A&E.

Both the paramedics and the ambulance crew were very good.
