I spent six nights in Royal Preston after fracturing my pelvis following a motorcycle accident in January 2014. I was treated very well, and very quickly. I had x rays within the hour, was assessed and transferred to Ward 16 within two to three hours. I was very impressed with the care I received at Preston. Staff were professional, yet very human in their interactions with me and other patients. I was on complete bed rest during my visit and all staff were sensitive, intuitive and helpful in providing all aspects of care to me. The food was very good, especially the soups. I came into contact with many different staffing groups and each of them was patient focused and kind. I felt safe. I would recommend Royal Preston to anyone.
