I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person within the maternity services at both Hartlepool and North Tees sites. I gave birth to my triplets in January 2013 and can only describe the care that we received as amazing! from the moment we found out we were expecting three babies we were treated with nothing but care and compassion. The midwives/doctors at the Hartlepool site and in the community dealt with us on a weekly and even daily basis to ensure that both I and the babies were all healthy and happy. We received nothing but support, reassurance and encouragement from some amazing people. at 35 weeks I was admitted to the delivery suite with some complications which led to an emergency c section which was very frightening for my husband and I. We had nothing to worry about though as the team that cared for us were professional, highly trained and fabulous! Our babies were all delivered healthy and happy and only needed 14 days in scbu. I was observed very closely during my hospital stay and for subsequent weeks in the anti-natal day unit at North Tees. Nothing was a problem for these midwives and the consultant I remained under. We cannot possibly thank the midwives and doctors enough for helping our babies arrive safely but hopefully this review will mean that they will know how much of an amazing team they are. I feel very privileged and lucky to have been cared for by this team and will be eternally grateful for their never ending support.
