I suffer from angina and two weeks ago I had really bad chest pains whilst I was out. Someone called for an ambulance and the paramedics arrived in no time at all. They examined me and decided I needed to go to hospital for more tests. I was taken to the Mayday University Hospital.
At the hospital they did a lot of blood tests whilst I was in A&E and then some more when they transferred me to a side ward – these tests were all clear and I was discharged. My daughter collected me from hospital.
In recent times I’ve used the 111 service 2 or 3 times, each time it has been excellent. The paramedics are very friendly, very quick and have treated me very nicely.
