"Hip Replacement Ward D48 7th February"

About: Sunderland Royal Hospital

I am very grateful to all the staff at the hospital. From being admitted at entrance 9 to being discharged from ward D48 I found all the staff to be eager to put me at ease and inform me of what was happening and going to happen to me. The operation went well & I was on my feet the next day with the help of the physiotherapist. The OT took me to her department to make sure I had the equipment at home to help me recuperate safely. I was discharged on the 9th February happy to go home knowing I had been given information about medication, exercises etc., to help me in my recovery.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We are pleased to read of your experience on Ward D48 and will share your comments with the staff on the ward. We hope you have continued to recover well at home and are now well on the way to being fully mobile again.
