About: The Maidstone Hospital

I went into A&E on sunday afternoon because of faintine spells. I was taken in by ambulance and then left for ages. However it was very very busy and more important cases needed to be seen first. Once the nurse had been told I was waiting and was very cold she came immediately with a blanket and then kept me informed of how many was in the queue beforeme etc. I was seen by a couple of drs and then told I was to stay overnight in umau. The staff on duty that night were brilliant and I was treated really well. Then I was referred to Cornwallis ward and I cant praise them enough. Both the day and night staff where fantastic and I felt like I was very important to them and they did all they could to make sure I was able to go home as soon as I was able to see my young daughter. They kept me informed all the time and when I got upset thebnurse was amazing and looked after me and took time to talk to me and listen to me. Brilliant ward and cant praise the staff enough. Amazing nurses.

Dear Donna, thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience of the service you received at Maidstone Hospital. We were delighted to read your kind comments, particularly about the care you received from the nursing staff in A&E, UMAU and on Cornwallis Ward. We know that the staff in those areas will be very pleased to learn that your stay with them went so well. Once again, thank you for sharing your experience. Kind regards, The PALS Team.
