"Maternity Ward stay and planned C/section"

We had our second child as planned CS in Feb 2014. The experience and care received was excellent. The theatre team were professional but also caring and made the process feel safe and at no point were we nervous. Two doctors and the anaethesist were particularly good. After recovery we were moved to the post natal ward and I stayed to two nights. Again excellent attention and care especially from the midwife. We had our first child at SM, who also then was unwell and had significant additional time in hospital and have always found the care and attention given to babies by SM to be of high standard.
