"i was sent to hospital on the ..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

(as the patient),

What I liked

i was sent to hospital on the 24/09/08 by my doctor with suspected appendcitos, when i arrived at the surgical unit , i was treated very quickly , very proffesonally, and with the upmost respect, all the nurses, doctors were all very nice , and i felt as safe as you can when your in pain, i was then taken to theatre and when i came round i woke up in ward 16 , i have to say ,i havnt been in hospital that many times , but my mum has but in another hospital which i wont mention, anyway the nurses and doctors, and cleaning operatives on ward 16 were brilliant , i was really looked after well, nothing

was to much trouble for them, i could ask any questions and they would answer them , and i would just like to say a really big thankyou to them all .

Thank you for your kind comments. We will endeavour to pass on your message to the relevant Matron, Ward Manager or Head of Department.

We place great value in the fact that local people continue to choose our hospitals and we openly encourage patients and visitors to give us their feedback. This will enable us to continually to improve the services we offer and the experience our patients have whilst in our hospitals.
