I feel compelled write to you to express my feeling about my wonderful treatment by yourself and your colleges on the Coronary Team. When I had my heart attack on Monday 27th of January, I will be honest I felt total panic at the pains I had in my chest and arm. I have never thought that I would suffer any kind of heart attack and didn’t know what would happen to me. But the ambulance crew that attended to me at start of what started as really frightening experience turned it being good experience (in the circumstance). That was then expanded on by all the Coronary Team that dealt with me all the way though my treatment. I found that they ALL instilled their business like but friendly manner on me, I thought that they made my experience of a heart attack easier to handle. I found that that continued throughout the whole of the team, be it Consultants, junior Doctors and Nursing Staff. It made me have complete confidence in the fact that when I left MKG that I would be a lot better, maybe not fully fixed but fitter. I feel that I have total confidence in the all of the Doctors and I really couldn’t ask for a better team to be there for me I do have another heart attack (please god I never do)if I need their help and support at any time in the future. Please express my great thanks to all of your colleges that I know that due to their professional and caring work that I am still around today. This is a copy of the letter I sent to the Coronary Care Team.
