"Waiting time"

Referred in May 2013 for cataracts. The consultant would not complete the op as I had a coughing fit ( quite right too ) in Oct when I was first admitted. I was advised to contact my GP and then referred to Salford Royal Hospital. The the fun started I have been to every dept in Salford Royal Hospital except the Maternity Dept ( and they don't have one now I believe ) My point is :- When can I expect to have my cataracts done as I am finding it difficult to read a newspaper and it is now 9 months since my first appointment. Please help. John G. Johnson
