"My mother was admitted with chest pain"

We spent from 1000hrs to about 1900hrs on Tuesday 18th February 2014 at Royal Berkshire hospital in Reading. Throughout the stay my mother was treated with dignity and care. All staff introduced themselves to her and most explained the procedures that were happening to her well. Although the waits between clinical procedures or care seemed quite long at the time, our experience was a good one. We visited AE and AMU and although staff seemed very busy, all staff took time to listen to her with patience, understanding and good humour.
