I had a miscarriage and was sent for a scan to check I had fully miscarried.
I sat in the waiting room with other pregnant ladies. The lady next to me asked if I was there for my 12 week scan, I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to upset her as she said she was nervous. So I just said yes.
Lucky for me, I'd been crying all weekend and by the scan date was too emotionally exhausted to think any of it. But in hindsight, it was insensitive that I was being scanned alongside expectant mothers, for them and me.
I also came out of the scan in tears and had to walk passed them all again…again…not great.
