What could be improved

The staff did not seem to care about my gran who is still in the Croxley ward today. When she awoke in the night and asked for another blanket she was told to go back to sleep. Then again when she asked for pillows to be moved due to back pain in the night she was told go back to sleep.

The air conditioning vent is broken and blowing out cold air.

If my gran does not eat the food (too weak) it is taken away. We have had to bring in our own food to feed her.

There is no urgency to get results back.

The feeling is that the staff think of the ward as a 'just old ladies' and my gran is not having the after care she deserves.

A drip should have been put in yesterday to stop another heart attack from occurring but this was just left - again no urgency.

I would think twice before sending a loved one to this hospital.

If my gran was able to be moved she would have been in private care by now.
