"failure of diagnosis"

(as the patient),

my father died in July 2006 from pancreatic cancer. The NHS finally realised he was seriously ill after 9 months of visits to the local GP. After which we were told that he would have to wait 8 weeks for a CT scan. We went private at a cost of over 2K and got one two days later. He died 9 weeks later. Why are we paying for such an inefficient NHS. Are there no patients or doctors left? are we just all statistics to the government? My father paid his dues and was let down, how do we sue the government as the controller of the NHS?

He died 3 weeks before his 60th birthday, we made the funeral arrangements so that everyone he had invited to his party was there. I love my father, but have completely lost any thought of respecting the politions and ministers that run the Not Healthy Service.
