"A procedure in the day unit"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with a problem with my heart and was booked in for a procedure in February 2014.

Prior to my treatment I had to visit the cardio dept quite a few times and also put on warfarin which I had never used before. The procedure went very well and according to plan with the result that was hoped for.

From my point of view, every one involved in my care( and still ongoing) from the cardio dept to the staff in the warfarin clinic who were brilliant seeing I was a new comer to warfarin to all concerned in the day unit who looked after me.

Thank you to all concerned,
