"Day Case."

Thank you, Don, for your positive feedback about our day case unit at Corbett Outpatient Centre. Our aim is to always offer our patients the best possible care and it’s great to know everyone you came into contact with during your visit was polite and helpful. It is a shame you didn’t have the same experience at Russells Hall Hospital last year. We certainly wouldn’t want our patients to feel they are herded around like cattle. Day case at Russells Hospital is much busier because we see a higher number of patients. Day case at Corbett has a limited number of beds and so we treat fewer numbers of patients. We have received similar feedback about the length of time some patients wait before they go to theatre at Russells Hall Hospital and, as a result, we are looking into ways of improving this process.
