"Good care"

About: Corstorphine Hospital

(as a relative),

My relative was a patient in ward 3. She was 92 and recovering from a fractured hip. The ward was in need of much repair but it had beautiful views and the care she received was excellent. When she arrived she was unable to walk and needed a hoist to move her. It was the nurses who got her walking again, not a physio. They were kind and encouraging and gave her the confidence to get back on her feet. I want to publicly thank them when so many negative things are said about elderly care.

Dear Extremely Happy,

Thank you sincerely for taking time out to pass on such wonderful feedback.

The treatment and care of patients is our absolute top priority and I am pleased to see that was the case for your relative.

I will pass on your kind comments to the team concerned and I do hope your relative is recovering well.
