It was around the early hours of Sunday morning I could not sleep after I had head pains, at 8:00 am I took two paraceyamol but the pain was still dangerous. N I immediately jumped thw tram and bus and rushed into A+E, I explained my neuro pain to the receptionist who put all the infirmation on screen and only waited 5-11mins before being seen by the first A+E nurse who was very friendly, supportive and took my blood pressure and quickly typed everything on screen. I then waited in the waiting area before being seen which I thought to be a Neuro - Consultant or nurse. She was very friendly had a good conversation, listened to my explanation about migraines and pain, I said would this be something neurological, she said unfortunately yes this would be neurological I was shocked and pretty nervous, she asked about my vision and was surprised to see how it was and she wrote a serious report to my GP, gave me a very strong painkiller and this investigation will continue with my GP. I would like to leave many thanks and kind regards with the two nurses that saw me that morning you was excellent and understood what my case was, anyone with seerious or severe head pains should definitely get seen at A+E.
