"Neglect"

My mother in law of 87 has been in Hospital for some time and since going to East HAm ward there has been consistent neglect and lack of care. Dirty pads have been left next to her, no refreshments served most afternoons and the door to her room is kept closed and no visibility into the room. Nurses and ancillary staff, particularly at weekends, take no notice of her needs, they have left her unwashed, without adequate refreshment and basic care. This is a poor indictment of this hospital in general. I will be passing on my report to the chief executive and also the care quality commission as well as the Health Minister.
