A few weeks ago, I was taken to A&E at the Alexandra in Redditch. I'd gone over on the outside of my ankle and was in terrible pain. I waited an hour and half to be seen by a young female doctor. As I was waiting in a cubicle, she was the other side complaining to her friend about her boss. Eventually, she came in and had no bedside manner and sent me for an x-ray. When I got back to A&E, she spoke to me in a corridor (couldn't even put me in a cubicle) told me it wasn't broken, probably just a sprain and ligament damage. With that she sent me away and told me to put a warm sock on it! I have arthritis, which I told her and she still didn't give me anything to help me walk. The next day I went to another hospital, who were disgusted with how I’ve been treated and gave me crutches. 10 days on my ankle is still black and I still can't walk properly. Is this what our national health has come to now!
