"First class care"

About: Fitzwilliam Hospital

After scanning through 42 reviews I am wondering if there is any point saying the same thing again, but I will anyway. I underwent surgery here as an NHS patient and remained in Lauren ward for a week. During that time the treatment and care I received was nothing less than superb. From arrival to departure everyone, particularly the night staff, was extremely pleasant, attentive and caring (where do they find these people?) As I have further procedures to come I sincerely hope they will be at Fitzwiliam with the same crew looking after me. One tip I will give, and I wish I had thought of while I was there, ask your visitors to bring in a flask of tea/coffee.because you will not get a hot drink there. I can see the safety aspect of giving hot drinks to people in bed. and in my case there could have been medical reasons, if there were no one said, but even when a nurse made me a fresh cup it was barely warm. Despite that I would like to say a big thank you to all concerned and hope to see you all again.
