"Now in system after 2 months of pain"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

My RA flare up began at the beginning of October by feet/ankles/lower legs swelling, with some pain.

Several visits to GP did not result in a diagnoses. Early November I rang the GP, who prescribed pain killers. They’re not helping and pain is now intense, with stiffness and pain in the morning.

Eventually in November steroids were prescribed which helped pain. Saw Dr Singh (ex RA specialist) in late November, who immediately diagnoses RA and referred me to a specialist.

Appointment came through in December and a further clinic appointment was due later that month. X-rays taken.

Now in system after 2 months of pain.
