"Impressed with how my wife was treated"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / NHS 111

(as a relative),

I was very impressed with the helpful and courteous way in which my wife was treated when she needed emergency treatment.

We called the 111 service to start with and then called for an emergency ambulance on the advice of the 111 operator. The paramedics arrived within 20 minutes and were very good at keeping us informed about what was going on.

My wife was taken to the Frenchay A&E department at 9: 00pm and we left at 1: 00am. We were seen very quickly at the hospital so no grumbles.

Dear Impact340

Thank you for taking the time to share your story. I hope your wife is feeling better.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to be able to pass your kind comments onto the ambulance staff who came to your wife. In order to do this I need to know the date of the 999 call and address the ambulance attended. Could you please contact me, at your convenience, laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk?

Kind regards

Laura
