Every aspect of my care on Hogarth ward at the Nottingham City hospital was excellent, and this is in direct comparison to the care I received in A&E and on Patience ward 1, which was poor. The care and consideration of the staff on Hogarth was exceptional, as was the general cleanliness of the ward. And although I have made allowances for the fact that my admission was over a bank holiday weekend, which was probably very busy, the standard of care and constant delays in both A&E and Patience 1 was just poor.
